What happens when a graphic designer with a sweet tooth and a creative flair for the macabre turns into a baker? Lily Vanilli’s book, A Zombie at My Cupcake: 25 Deliciously Weird Cupcake Recipes (Cico 2010).
Cupcakes are in (and have been for a few years now.) And it’s not a novel idea to create gory treats for Halloween and spooky parties. But this UK native is really bringing out the dead and horrific side of baked goods for the masses.

And on the 29th of October, there will be a special “Zombie Last Supper” event in the store’s stationary department between 1-2pm to celebrate the book’s launch. There will be free cupcakes, zombie waiters, and zombies to eat your cupcakes with and take pictures – this event is family-friendly.
