The Loved Ones

 Release: November 2009 – This has been out for a while, but it’s a hard to find DVD

Plot:  When Brent turns down his classmate Lola’s invitation to the prom, she concocts a wildly violent plan for revenge. – IMDB

Thoughts: Some girls just can’t take rejection. This Australian film looks hyper-violent and completely twisted, but it’s unfortunately hard to find. Lola and her father take the idea of Daddy’s Girl to some seriously horrifying extremes and brings a feminine touch to predominantly male serial killers. Released back in 2009, The Loved Ones made its festival rounds to a bit of success. We would love to see it, but we can’t seem to find a US copy.
