Thoughts: Apartment 143 is an English speaking film from Spain that is suspiciously similar in feel to Paranormal Activity, with a side order of [insert ghost hunting show here]. Instead of a demon haunting, it appears to be the poltergeist of the family’s dead mother. Shot in the shaky, handheld, found footage style, the film doesn’t seem to promise anything new in cinematic style or story telling. That being said, there will be a guarantee of quick and dirty scares.
