Thoughts: Everyone loves a “Girl Next Door” story. And Jennifer Lawrence is so that girl. I like Lawrence. She is a breath of fresh air from the other “Young & Popular” actresses that have been about lately. And she definitely doesn’t do wilting flower so that alone would make this a worthy view. Hopefully this “Girl Next Door” play isn’t all cliché. The preview is appropriately vague and the backwards time schtick is very clever for building intrigue, but I don’t know if it’s a preview gimmick or if it’s going to be a format for the film (that could be interesting). Definitely promises a strong female lead and supporting cast, but will it just resort to chick on chick violence to sell the story?
