Thoughts: This isn’t a fun story, kiddos. Based on actual events, the story itself is a living representation of the Milgram Experiment – a social psychology experiment studying how far an individual will go to comply with an authority figure’s orders. People do bad things to each other, all because they’re told to by a voice of authority. It’s unnerving, powerful stuff – and will be interesting to see how the filmmakers handle it. Could be terrific and thought-provoking – or it could be uncomfortably titillating dreck. Early reviews may hint at the former.

These kind of movies are the most disturbing because they’re based on true events and truth is more horrible than fiction. This trailer prompted me to read up on the actual events and that just freaks me out.
