VIY 3D Kills at the Russian Box Office

For a little back story – VIY 3D is a Russian horror adaption of a classic 1800’s short story by Nikolai Gogol. Vity is the king of the gnomes, and his story involves some unlucky travlers, the dead rising, demons, witches and of course, all kinds of crazy folklore shit. And for many years, Oleg Stephcehnko has been trying to get this film made but numerous delays had held it back. And now that it’s finally released? It broke the record opening for a 3D film in that country and we can see why.

Check out the AMAZING trailer below and as soon as we can find a way to see this film (with hopefully English subtitles) expect a full review on Gores Truly.
