Spooky Day in the parks is a collection of events, Friday September 22nd through Sunday September 24th, brought to you by the folks who run Florida’s largest horror convention, Spooky Empire.
Meet Up in the Park, is a meet up to be held on September 23rd at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando Florida. All you need is a ticket to get into the Magic Kingdom. There are discounted tickets being offered on the Spooky Day in the Parks website. Attendee’s are encouraged to dress in their spooky attire. Disney Bounding is encouraged however costumes are not allowed. You are welcome to wear your Spooky Empire T-Shirts or just all around Gothic attire. There will be meet ups and some photo ops scheduled around the park for the attendees.
Along with the meet up in the Magic Kingdom Spooky Empire has arranged for some additional fun activities. Keep in mind that all events are separately ticketed.
On September 22nd there is a Gala being held at of the Tower of Terror after regular park hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Those attending this event will have access to ride the Tower of Terror as many times as they want. There will also be an open bar and a Villain themed Desert Bar. There will be Disney Villain character photo ops and some other goodies! Tickets must be purchased in advance for this great deal and space is limited.
The Spooky Bizarre, a separately ticketed event, offers attendees Friday Sept 22nd and Saturday Sept 23rd to browse, purchase and take home unique villainous creations from artists, crafters, and collectible retailers. Your Spooky Bizarre ticket also provides access to an art show, various panels, and a fashion show! The bizarre will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in the Veracruz Exhibit Hall.
Sunday September 24th there will be a special character breakfast available featuring Mickey and Minnie dressed in their Haunted attire! This breakfast is only available for Spooky Day in the park attendees and can be purchased from their website.
